ALONZO GARBANZO is the stage name of Dennis Michael Castañares, guitarist, singer, composer, producer, and general nuisance. Alonzo has been in the music business since age 15, which was a mighty long time ago! Alonzo's stage act includes songs and instrumentals from various genres and periods: slow to fast, soft to loud, originals to covers, Lead Belly to Radiohead, excellent to really really really good.

 

Alonzo plays many different instruments, some better than others. Alonzo also knows literally hundreds o' songs and deploys some noteworthy fingerpicking chops acquired from long experience performing as a soloist and in bands such as the Odyssey, The Cowsills, Christopher Milk, and even Maroon 5!---down the years.
